Israel’s future armored combat vehicles being defined
The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) are getting ready for two main types of war – the one with Iran which is far away from Israel and the other in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza. The second type, which is sometimes called low intensity warfare, is now the most imminent.
This fighting will involve great numbers of soldiers that will have to move fast from one area to the other while protecting themselves and inflicting casualties on the enemy. To be prepared for that this contingency, in 2017 the Israeli Ministry of Defence (MoD) initiated a competition between three major Israeli defence companies.
