Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto received a courtesy call from South Korean DAPA Minister HE Mr. Eom Donghwan at the Ministry of Defense office, Jakarta Friday (6/10).
“Thank you and appreciation to Mr. “HE Eom Donghwan who was present visited the Ministry of Defense office,” said Minister of Defense Prabowo at the start of the meeting.
Indonesia is satisfied with the cooperation that has been established with Korea in the defense industry sector and recognizes the progress achieved so far. The exchange of joint expertise and experience has proven invaluable in enhancing the defense capabilities of both countries.
Indonesia also appreciates Korea’s interest in advancing defense industrial cooperation between the two countries. Indonesia remains committed to exploring new opportunities to strengthen collaboration and is open to discussing ways to facilitate stronger technology transfer.
Also present to accompany the Indonesian Minister of Defense were the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, the Head of Research and Development of the Ministry of Defense and the Managing Director of PT Dirgantara Indonesia.
