ALSEAMAR is proud to announce a strategic partnership with HANWHA OCEAN, as part of the world’s number two shipbuilder’s growing interest in the cutting-edge technologies developed by the French SME.
Faced with an increasing number of threats in naval combat and the droning of systems, armed forces are constantly having to adapt. The solutions proposed by ALSEAMAR, in particular its advanced radio communication systems and its SEAEXPLORER underwater gliders, meet these new challenges. These technologies are designed to offer exceptional performance and reliability in complex and constantly changing environments.
Ahead of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), ALSEAMAR hosted teams from HANWHA OCEAN for an at-sea demonstration, where three types of systems were deployed: the Black Bird system (which enables a UAV to be deployed and information to be transmitted via an antenna relay from a deep-underwater submarine), the SEAEXPLORER underwater glider and the MURENE combat swimmer vehicle.
The aim of the demonstration was to highlight the synergy between the innovations developed by ALSEAMAR and their ability to meet the strategic needs of HANWHA OCEAN.
“This strategic alliance marks a key step for ALSEAMAR. We are proud to be working with HANWHA OCEAN, whose interest in our innovative solutions confirms the relevance of our technologies and approach. The demonstration at sea has enabled us to prove the added value of our systems in real-life conditions and to strengthen the foundations of a fruitful and lasting cooperation”, said Thibaud BEZACIER, Chairman of ALSEAMAR.
The signing of the MOU following the demonstration formalised this collaboration and paved the way for new joint initiatives.
