SA26 EXProm 728x90 Find out more todayRotron Aerospace Ltd., a UK-based advanced defence technology company specialising in propulsion systems, engines and unmanned aviation platforms, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with LIG Nex1 Co., Ltd., one of the Republic of Korea’s leading defence corporations.

The MoU establishes a strategic collaboration to support the development, integration and future export of next-generation unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

Signed at Rotron Aerospace’s headquarters in Dorset, the agreement focuses on the Medium UAV Common Platform (MUCP) programme, related follow-on and derivative projects, and a broad range of Republic of Korea and international initiatives where Rotron’s aero-propulsion systems and aviation platforms may be applied.

Effective until 2032, the MoU brings together Rotron’s advanced propulsion technologies with LIG Nex1’s established expertise in system architecture, integration and testing. The partnership is intended to accelerate development timelines, strengthen sovereign defence capability and position both companies for long-term success across the Korean, Pacific Rim and global export markets.
