ST Engineering today announced that its Land Systems business has been awarded a contract by the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) for the production and supply of next-generation Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs). This milestone reinforces ST Engineering’s position as a leader in advanced land defence solutions designed to meet evolving operational needs.
The IFVs, scheduled for progressive delivery from 2028 onwards, will be based on ST Engineering’s Terrex s5, the latest addition to the Group’s family of 8×8 armoured fighting platforms. The Terrex s5 is designed for future-ready operations, built around five core pillars:
